Project Overview
Drinks Concierge Ireland is a premium drinks service launched in 2026, specialising in corporate hospitality and private events. I was introduced to the owner through an existing client who recommended Inksplat to design and develop a website capable of presenting the business as a professional, luxury-focused brand from its initial launch.
The brief outlined the need for a modern, easy-to-navigate website that would showcase a wide variety of drinks services. Each service needed to appeal to different audiences, from corporate hospitality and wedding drinks services to luxury drinks experiences and wine tastings aimed at tourists.
As the website would operate through an enquiry-only system, it needed to make it simple for potential clients to explore individual services and submit enquiries while maintaining a premium online presence. The client also highlighted the importance of building the website with a strong foundation for SEO from the beginning.
Project Challenge
The core challenges for this project were:
- Create a website that was both modern and easy to navigate.
- Build a website structure designed to target relevant SEO searches.
- Develop an enquiry-only system that connected each service page with the correct enquiry process.
- Create a bespoke before and after photo gallery.
Web Design & Development
The website was designed and developed as a bespoke WordPress build, with a focus on creating a premium user experience while allowing the client to easily manage and update their services as the business grows.
Service Focused Website Structure
Drinks Concierge Ireland offers a variety of packages across a range of experiences, from corporate hospitality and wedding services to whiskey tastings and wine masterclasses. It also includes a dedicated drinks consultancy service. It was important that the website was able to break each of these packages into clearly defined experience services, allowing users to easily navigate to the correct page and ultimately find the right experience package.
Custom WordPress Development
To ensure the website remained easy for the client to manage, each experience was developed as a custom post type within WordPress. This allowed new experiences and services to be added or updated through the CMS while maintaining bespoke layouts and consistent styling across the website.
Enquiry Based User Journeys
As the business operates as an enquiry only service, the website designed around encouraging visitors to submit enquiries. Custom enquiry forms were created throughout the site, allowing information submitted by potential clients to be tailored based on the specific service they were viewing.
Custom Before & After Gallery
Using JavaScript I developed a bespoke “Before & After” photo gallery, which showcases venue transformations at events hosted by Drinks Concierge Ireland. The gallery uses an interactive overlay slider, allowing users to reveal more or less of the completed venue setup compared to the original image.
SEO
A key consideration during the development of the website was creating a structure that allowed each area of the business to target relevant search terms.
Rather than relying solely on individual experience pages, the website was structured around broader service categories such as wedding drinks receptions and corporate events. These pages were designed to target wider search terms, while individual experience pages provided more detail on specific services and packages.
This approach allowed the website to target multiple search opportunities while keeping the content organised and easy for users to navigate.
